As Pittsburgh’s City Curator, I do nearly everything from thinking outreach and coordination with venues, booking bands, coordinating volunteers, designing posters, and taking pictures of everyone’s great time, but mostly I’m figuring out how many people can fit into a room and how being up close and personal with strangers can be one of the best experiences possible.

Founded in London in 2009, Sofar Sounds is a nonprofit that has grown into the one of the best worst-kept secrets around the world. Now in over 400 cities across the globe, Sofar works to put on secret-shows in unique and intimate environments, that break the mold of the typical venue experience, and helps connect artists and audiences in new ways.
